Once upon a time

This activity was quite difficult for me because I never did before so I practised a lot. First of all I familiarizate myself with the book " taste of the moon" and with the animals illustrations. I decided to put the illustrations on the blackboard so I was stand also I adapt the story for small pupils, for that reason I repeated the same phrase at the end of the paragraph: " (animal) come and help" For me, the most difficult part was kept in contact all time with the children and use gesture and mime at the same time that I thought in english. Another important part in my story telling was involved children so at the beginning of the story they guess the story animals with some questions that I made with this dynamics the focus on story. MATERIALS: - Real animals photography - Laminated -Sticky tape -Wall

1. Find a clean sock that's long enough to cover your arm. A crew sock or a knee sock would work great for this! The sock can be any color you like. It can be fuzzy or plain. Jut make sure there aren't any holes.   2. Slip the sock over your hand. Once you the sock on, make a C-shape with your hand. Put your fingers into the toe part. Try to get your thumb into the heel part. If you can't reach it, tuck the sock into the groove between your thumb and fingers. Open and close your hand. Your sock should already start looking like a puppet. 3. Glue some eyes onto the sock. You can do this with a hot glue gun, fabric glue, or tacky glue. For the actual eyes, you can use buttons, pompoms, or googly eyes. You can also draw the eyes on with a marker. If you want, draw some eyelashes with a marker! 4. Add some other decorations. I was in Denmark for 6 months and I saw a lot of difference between the Spanish education system and the Danish system. First of all, in Denmark the student starts to read with 6 years old, before this age, the kids are used to play all time. In spite of that the kids have some books in their classroom so they can start to get acquainted with them. I took the first fotograph in a kindergarten school. Here we can see a small girl (3 years old) who "i reading" a book. In the other one, we can see another girl who is 7 years old. For me it was incredible because she reads perfectly ( Nonetheless she reads in Danish I  was astonished at the speed and agility that she has in reading). My personal conclusion is that as a future teacher , I should collaborate in the development of children in aspects such as motor skills, balance, coordination so that children can more easily acquire the reading and writing process in a future. ...

Charles W Eliot I want to make a book about a soldier because I think he is an interest character for kids. I asked some question about the thoughts of the soldier so I taught the names of animals at the same time. I  used repurposed materials as much as possible which saves preparation time. I don't get hung up about precision and perfection. The more joy in the process, the more books you and your students will want to make. The more books they make, the more writing and learning will happen. CLASSIC FAIRY TALES This story is for kids in last year of pre-school (6 years). At the end of the story, I explain some vocabulary.
