MY EXPERIENCE IN DENMARK

I was in Denmark for 6 months and I saw a lot of difference between the Spanish education system and the Danish system.
First of all, in Denmark the student starts to read with 6 years old, before this age, the kids are used to play all time. In spite of that the kids have some books in their classroom so they can start to get acquainted with them.

I took the first fotograph in a kindergarten school. Here we can see a small girl (3 years old) who "i reading" a book.

In the other one, we can see another girl who is 7 years old. For me it was incredible because she reads perfectly
( Nonetheless she reads in Danish I  was astonished at the speed and agility that she has in reading).



My personal conclusion is that as a future teacher , I should collaborate in the development of children in aspects such as motor skills, balance, coordination so that children can more easily acquire the reading and writing process in a future.

“Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) is an educational approach where some content learning (like a topic on global climate, or a subject) is taught in an additional language (such as English language in Korea). It is a single educational approach which involves very different models.” The video of David Marsh is very interesting because talk about how the different schools introduce the second language method, so it is very useful because that topic is common in all the Spanish school. The teachers need to know how to use in a better way the methodologies for teaching a second language and accelerate the learning of content, language at the same time, having fun. He also talked about the CLIL method and explains some situations where this method work in a very good way, so I saw that teaching like that is possible. FLASHCARDS

In this video, Carol Read told us some ideas for using flashcards. Flashcards are an incredibly practical and useful resource for teaching vocabulary. Activity 1: very fast. The teacher shows them the flashcard very fast children identify what´s on the flashcard Activity 2: Slowlyslowly. Cover the flashcard that you´re going to use and gradually reveal the picture and children identify what´s on the flashcard Activity 3: What´s missing?. Stick the flashcards on the board get the children to repeat the words out loud.
