“Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) is an educational approach where some content learning (like a topic on global climate, or a subject) is taught in an additional language (such as English language in Korea). It is a single educational approach which involves very different models.” The video of David Marsh is very interesting because talk about how the different schools introduce the second language method, so it is very useful because that topic is common in all the Spanish school. The teachers need to know how to use in a better way the methodologies for teaching a second language and accelerate the learning of content, language at the same time, having fun. He also talked about the CLIL method and explains some situations where this method work in a very good way, so I saw that teaching like that is possible. Body language is an important – and often decisive – factor in communication. This is especially true of communicators, who need to show congruency between the oral information and their body language when transmitting a message, because only if they manage to do so will the message be effective. Body language is an element in communication that we should be very much aware of because it gives clues to the character, emotions, and reactions of an individual. If you are aware of what you do with your body, your self-understanding becomes deeper and more meaningful. Once you manage to control your body language, you will be able to cross many defensive barriers and establish better relationships. What is your job at the moment:  I am a English teacher in la Pureza de Maria SCHOOL (Bilbao) In second, third, fourth and sixth grade of primary school. What are the difficulties for you as a teacher?  First of all, making the children like my subject. Abously every child has different interest so       something it is difficult to choose one method that it is works foreverybody.  Besides, for differents reason kids have very differents level of englsih, some of them dont use out side the classsroom and other go to an academic so this aspect is relevant in my way of the aching.  Diliguing parents because sometimes they are very demaning in relation with their children      achievements or they don’t agree with the way that I teach so I need to find the way to make them feel comfortable with that.  Which materials do you use in your lessons?  I use: -A text book (classbook (theory, stories...) -An activities book(exercise, activities, homework).  -T

I agree that doing homework helps children on their way to becoming independent learners but sometimes that task is really hurt for them because they need a lot of time in their homework. For that reason, I believe that TIC´s help us to teach some subject. In this case, the article talks about the importance to use the web side to do their English homework. I learnt a lot with this reading because I show in it that with a good material is possible do homework at home.

PYGMALION EFFECT

This video talk about the pygmalion effect. Psychologist Robert Rosenthal and school principal Lenore Jacobson did a remarkable study in which they told school teachers Elementary school teachers that on the basis of some psychological test some of their students were designated as late bloomer even though they hadn´t shown any academic success they are expected to bloom. Finally, they were transformed by the teacher’s positive expectations. In this video, the protagonist analysed the Pygmalion effect: positive expectations can change a person´s perception of a situation. The work of Rosenthal and Jacobsen (1968), among others, shows that teacher expectations influence student performance. Positive expectations influence performance positively, and negative expectations influence performance negatively. FLASHCARDS

In this video, Carol Read told us some ideas for using flashcards. Flashcards are an incredibly practical and useful resource for teaching vocabulary. Activity 1: very fast. The teacher shows them the flashcard very fast children identify what´s on the flashcard Activity 2: Slowlyslowly. Cover the flashcard that you´re going to use and gradually reveal the picture and children identify what´s on the flashcard Activity 3: What´s missing?. Stick the flashcards on the board get the children to repeat the words out loud. Then the children close their eyes and cover their eyes with their hands, demonstrate this, remove one of the flashcards from the board and hide it behind our back. CAROL READ: THE SECRET OF WORKING WITH KIDS. S (Sensory acuity) E (Emotions) C (Communications) R (Rapport) E (Evaluation) T (Talk) In this video, Carol Read talk covered a range of primary issues and she gave a number of invaluable tips about teaching primary students. She starts her conference with some questions about the difficulties in the education system. The audience answer: 1.The students are talkative and move all time. 2.They demanding new things 3.They have different levels and  also different learning style. 4. The space in the classroom are not enough for 15-24 children. For solves this problem, Carol suggest some criteria with activities. The flash card is a very good way to improve grammar, listening, memory and guess. Also the communication is another important point in this topic, specifically the body language because the 55% of information that the children recibid is with this kind of communication. For her is important the relation with the
